How to Choose a Cheap but Good Car

We are looking for a new car. We want a cheaper one and it has to have good mileage because we’re planning on traveling from ga to ny alot and making lots of trips. I think the highest price it can be is like 20,000 and we need all the help we can get. Anything would be nice from just the model to the model and wuts great about it.

I found the world’s cheapest car but this car is too small. A suggestion come from my friend…

I would suggest you go look at a new Nissan there priced well in you price range, and are good cars, they have a good warranty, but all the ones i have seen built in the past ten years are still on the road and they are reliable. It would make you a god car for what your going to be doing and they have enough room in them also,is at least look at one, there’s also many of the American made cars now that are doing really good, dodge has a lot of models out that are good cars. So does Chevy, try looking around and see what all is out there, you’ll be surprised of what you can find.

Time to look around car catalog  and magazine to make a decision.

How to talk to your son?

It’s a serious question. How to talk to your son? It have been seperated for quite a while now. My son is all grown up, actually 15yrs old havn’t seen him or spoken to him in 13 yrs. Nooooooo not my fault, long story. My son has gotton in touch with me the last 3 xmas. When we do chat, we run out of things to say to each other, within 3 mins, 1 coz i know his mum is in the background,and stands over to listen and tells him what to answer so he or me are to scared to say anything. coz of the ex luv him max ehh he my son.

It’s a long story which if you want the details just email me. But yehhh how do i talk with him. What subjects do i talk with him as a parent. Pretty much confuse on what to chat about ehh…

Is there anyway you can talk or communicate with him when his mom is not around ? Dose he have a cell phone, can you get him your cell phone number? Both of you set up a My Space account so you can post back an forth ? Does he live near you? Can you go and get him out of school at lunch and spend some time just the two of you ? Can he give you a friends address so you can send him letters that only he will get?

As far as what to talk about, think back to when you were that age, what did you like ? Sports and girls ? It will take time, but ask him what kind of things he likes , what are his hobbies. Talk about you, what is going on in your life, about your childhood, share things with him. Let him get to know you also. Good luck

Im young but I think you should just say whats on your mind….hes old enough to understand things. And go somewhere his mom isnt around so its just the two of you….it will be a lot more comfortable for the both of you. maybe he has a lot that he wants to say as well.

ask him about his life. He’ll tell you his accomplishments and what not, and you could respond with how proud you are of him. I think the only way the two of you can actually bond is through quality time. go out to lunch, take him to a movie…i know not much is involved in the movie but at leas the knows your making an effort. then he might feel more comfortable talking to you

Try to key into his interests. When you hit on something he really likes, he’ll go on and on. Tell him stories about yourself when you were his age. Ask about drama – like what drama is going on at school or on his team (there will always be drama). Lastly, do some research on those things he is into and then come back and ask him some more specific questions about it. That will show him you are really interested and help him to open up (e.g., listen to a song he likes and ask what a certain lyric means or what he thinks of the doping scandal in baseball or whatever).
